İkimiz — Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are between
These terms are between Vahid Gür (sole developer) ("we", "us"), who builds and runs İkimiz as an individual, and you, the person using the İkimiz app ("you"). By using the app you accept these terms.
2. The service
İkimiz is an app where two people answer a daily question together, leave notes, collect memories and play small games. It is not a chat app or a dating app.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 to create an account; we ask for your date of birth when you sign up. The "bold" pack asks for a separate 18+ confirmation.
- Your account is yours; don't share your sign-in details.
- The app works with two people. You can be part of only one couple at a time.
- An invite code is valid for 30 days and can be cancelled before it's accepted.
4. Your content
What you write and upload is yours. You give us only the limited permission needed to provide the service: storing your content, showing it to your partner and processing it when you ask us to.
We don't use your content for marketing. Quoting it in the monthly report needs a separate opt-in, which you can turn off at any time.
Don't upload: content that infringes someone else's rights, illegal content, or private images of other people without their consent.
5. AI-generated content
The Coffee Cup Reading, How Do I Say It, What Should We Do, gift ideas, star signs, the monthly report story and the follow-up question are generated by AI (provider: Google Gemini). Section 6 of the Privacy Policy lists exactly what is sent; these features only work with your explicit consent.
- The Coffee Cup Reading is for fun. It isn't a prophecy and shouldn't be the basis for decisions about your health, legal matters, money or relationship.
- How Do I Say It and What Should We Do are suggestions; they don't replace therapy, counselling or expert advice.
- Generated text can be wrong. Every output carries the line "Made with AI · for fun"; use "Report" to tell us about an inappropriate or wrong output.
6. İkimiz+ subscription
- İkimiz+ is a couple licence: one of you pays, both of you use it.
- The subscription is sold and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation, refunds, renewal and any statutory right of withdrawal follow that store's rules.
- If a free trial is offered and you don't cancel before it ends, it turns into a paid subscription.
- If the paying person leaves the couple, the subscription stays valid until the end of the current period.
- Prices are shown in the app; we'll tell you in advance if they change.
7. Ads
In the free tier there are currently only rewarded ads that you start yourself. You can use the app without watching ads; a rewarded ad only unlocks something extra, and the button says so before it opens. In-page (banner) ads may be shown in the free tier later; there will be no ads in the question of the day or in notes. With İkimiz+ there are no ads.
8. What's not allowed
- Using the app to harass or threaten someone, or to monitor someone without their consent.
- Trying to reverse-engineer the service, overload it or get around its security.
- Creating accounts in bulk with automated tools.
Breaking these rules may lead to your account being suspended.
9. Changes to the service
We keep developing the app, so features may change. We'll let you know in the app before planned maintenance. We can't promise that the app will always run without interruptions or errors.
10. Liability
We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law (such as product liability law) says so. Otherwise, as far as the applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account in the app at any time: Me › Data and privacy › Delete account. After you ask, there is a 7-day waiting period during which you can cancel. If you end your couple, shared data is kept for 30 days and can be downloaded during that time.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can also bring a claim before the courts there.
